CHAPTER 94

Al-Inshirah: THE EXPANSION

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

94:1 Have We not expanded for thee thy breast,

94:2 And removed from thee thy burden,

94:3 Which weighed down thy back,

94:4 And exalted for thee thy mention?

94:5 Surely with difficulty is ease,

94:6 With difficulty is surely ease,

94:7 So when thou art free (from anxiety), work hard,

94:8 And make thy Lord thy exclusive object.
