Those who would seek out and use the knowledge of self require Total Health and Wellness. Then they can accept their true nature as Original Men and Original Women. The very important task of our focus in this community health center left us with the need to name and dedicate it to someone who gave her life and support to the Messenger, and exemplifies the Mother of Creation.

This Health and Wellness Center is named for and dedicated to Sister Clara Muhammad, wife and companion of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Messenger of Allah.

Sister Clara Muhammad spent Her life encouraging full glory for the Black Woman as the Mother of Civilization. She was the role model for the Black Woman. She embodied 'modesty, purpose, and total commitment to her husband and her Nation'. She was the mother of The Messenger’s eight children and She was always at the side of Her Husband, supporting and aiding Him in His work. She shored up the fledgling Nation during Her Husband’s absence. She was ‘always the perfect help-mate’. Her husband set forth the ‘way for proper actions for the modern Black Woman’ and She was the true representation of His vision. Leon Forrest called Her the ‘spiritual pilgrim mother of a Nation of motherless children’. He wrote a tribute to Her in the August 25, 1972 issue of "Muhammad Speaks Newspaper" commemorating Her passing. The Messenger passed away three years later, without ever remarrying.

We are striving to mirror Sister Clara Muhammad’s promotion of physical, mental, and spiritual health by providing knowledge and information. Our focus is the Original Black Man, the Original Black Woman, and the family they create with their joining. In order to accomplish this, we want to satisfy your informational needs, as well as your interest and curiosity.

If there is a particular area or subject which we do not address, please bring this to our attention.
