I was there and Bro. Clarence was given "time out" of the Nation of Islam Temple #7 for insubordination. He was in constant conflict with his officers and Temple authority. Rather than just take the time out, which was probably not more than 90 days, he, like Malcolm after him, decided to continue in his insubordinate frame of mind and went out on his own according to his inadequate understanding. He broke ranks.
