Why must some of us elevate the students above the teacher? No student can ever be (REPEAT EVER BE) greate than the teacher.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was a well-spring from which many were produced. These are not self-made leaders. Each was produced directly from the noble "institution" of the Muhammad Mosque (not Muhammad's but Muhammad as in Elijah Muhammad, if is he who Allah allowed to offer us shelter from the storms of the world. He is the "mosque".)
The Nation of ISlam is not a "feel-good" club.
It is not so ad-hoc organization for neo-Black Cristianity.
It is not a hate group for the disillusioned to come ian learn of the devil as a manner of "sport and play".
It is not a fashion parade for Armani or Boss or whomever.
It is not "whole-in-the-wall", can't wait for the (Saviour's Day or Saviours' Day or Mother's Day or New Independence Day) celebration.
No, it is the promised vessel by which Allah would make all things new!
Many of us are no better than those who we condemn for being "Negroes" and "Toms". Many of us are afraid to speak out against injustice and wrong because we may not be liked.
Please, know, not one "student", "shiek", "prepared one", "son", "sage", or "potenate", is greater that Allah.
If we do not believe in a spook god, then how do many of us truly account for our ragged condition? Where is the true newness?
