A question for Brother Khalimah Muhammad

Brother, I am a little confused. When the previous people were here at Mosque #18 (I used to attend then also) they always told everyone to face towards the east when praying. These people (who are here now) don't [didn't] tell us to pray towards the east. Has the Muslim's (around the world and especially the N.O.I) prayer direction changed. Please respond.
