There were several options given INCLUDING KOOL-AID as a method to keep babies from suffering the consequences of dehydration. <b>IT IS THE DEHYDRATION THAT KILLS THEM...NOT KOOL-AID! There is nothing said about FEEDING the baby KOOL-AID.</b> You were given several options besides KOOL-AID to prevent infant dehydration which can be an extremely serious problem. Some babies will not take water, Sister. If you don't like the option of KOOL-AID and you can afford to do otherwise, then give them juice. <h2>BUT THE IMPORTANT ISSUE IS TO GET FLUIDS INTO THEM!</h2> The KOOL AID is just a temporary way to deliver water to a baby who is not willing to take water. You can also use juice, if that works. You have to learn to read things more carfully before you jump on this mesaage board drawing conclusions. : I know that you may not have formal education. And, that's ok. But, some health issues are critical and some are not. And, since you are an uneducated in matters of health and wellness, I would suggest that you seek assistant from a qualified health professional on these topic. But, don't you ever again raise the prospect of our web site being out of control of in some way offering unhealthy advice. And NEVER EVER suggest that we are under the control of devils, which is EXACTLY what your post implied. That is a lie and you are totally unqualified to make such a claim. : As far as KOOl-AID is concerned, I defy you to name the key ingredients in KOOL-AID which pose a serious health threat to children. Name one. You will not be able to do and even if you name an ingredient, you can never tell me why it is unhealthy by explaining to me the effects on the human body. If anything, it is the sugar which is the culprit. The reason you are unable to do this is because you lack knowledge one way or another. You really don't know or understand a single thing regarding any additives in food products, for if you did, you would have focused your attention on <b>BABY FORMULA</b> as a source of early contamination of infants rather the occasional use of KOOL-AID to assist in preventing dehydration in infants. In reality, <b>FORMULA</b> is the single greatest source of poison and "contamination" that our babies encounter. You say that you don't know or can't be sure of what is in vaccines, but you say nothing of baby FORMULA. You are straining after a gnat and swallowing a camel on this one. <b>AND YET, WE KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEMS OF BABY FORMULA!</b>The Messenger knew this. But, this is a health and wellness web page and as such, it must be tailored to accommodated the REALITY of our situation in North America. SISTERS WITH BABIES HAVE TO WORK! Some have no choice and cannot nurse there babies at work. We recommend saving and storing her natural milk, but in some situations, even that is not a workable idea. Show me a scientific study which proves that vaccines are responsible ear infections. We have searched for such a study and we cannot find one. Furthermore, even the risk of an occasional ear infection must be weighed against the possible catastrophic consequences of the outbreak of disease and the effect it or they can have on unvaccinated children Muslim children. With more and more foreigners moving to American and with the strong possibility of terrorist bacteriological warfare attacks, we must be very careful how we assess vaccinations and immunization for our children. Wouldn't you think it possible that the devil deliberately infect our community with the very diseases that he knows Muslim children are not immunized against? Don't you know who the devil is and what he thinks of you, me, and our Muslim chidren who are destined to rule the earth someday? : Finally, I'm sure you may have heard of the disease called small pox. If not look it up on the web. it wasn't all that long ago that the world was under the seize of an all out epidemic of small pox. It's not like chicken pox. It kills most of it's victims. Your parents, myself, and my parents were all vaccinated against small pox. Depending upon your age, you may not have been because the disease has been virtually eliminated. But during that time period, you would have had no choice of whether or not you wanted to vaccinated. To not be vaccinated was to jeopardize not only your own life, but the lives of thousands of others because once infected, you become a carrier of the disease. Therefore, everyone had to be vaccinated. Look on their arm (probably the left arm) and you will see evidence of their small pox vaccination. Had it not been for vaccines against small pox, you and I would probably not be hear to have this dialogue. You need to read, my Sister. Your single experience as a well meaning and concerned parent is not sufficient to account for the others, like myself, who have perfectly healthy, well mannered, and civilized children and grandchildren, all of whom have been vaccinated.
